Build a wave by hand with orders, lines, weight and cube in view, or let waves build themselves on a schedule by carrier, service, zone or cut-off, capped at what the shift can pick. Stock is checked per line before release, so a wave never goes to the floor short. Service levels set the due date on every job and drive the wallboards.
The right pick for the order in hand.
Bulk pick then sort, pick straight to carton, pick to tote, pick to order: each order takes the method that suits it. Rotation follows the rule you set per client, by expiry, batch or sequence. Pickers work from the handheld, a wearable scanner or a watch, and put walls sort bulk picks into orders with express and late orders handled on the wall.
Exceptions handled where they happen.
A short pick blocks the bin, raises a count and can hold the job for approval. At pack, the system infers trade units and suggests tracker values from the pick, and a supervisor approves anything it prefilled. Nothing leaves the building on a guess.
Cartonised before the pick, verified at the bench.
The right carton is chosen from item dimensions, weight and fill before picking starts, so the picker walks with the box the order will ship in. Cartons, pallets, mixed pallets and kits pack on the same bench with scales and dimensioners attached, and labels and packing slips print in each client’s format.
Shipped on the cheapest eligible service.
One native carrier engine prices, books, labels and manifests across carriers in APAC, the UK and Europe, and North America. Dangerous goods data rides on the consignment, jobs for the same consignee consolidate into one shipment, and the end-of-day manifest closes the shift.
