Win more contracts. Keep more of the margin.

Onboard a new client in days, run it on its own rules and carriers beside every other client, and invoice every pallet, pick and day of storage from the work your floor already did.

Best practice live in weeks. Legacy systems take years.

What a 3PL runs on .wms.

  1. New clients live in days on your operating model, with their own ERP, storefront or EDI trading partners connected.
  2. Each client’s rules, carriers, labels and documents, picked in the same wave as everyone else.
  3. Every pallet, pick, day of storage, value-added service and freight charge invoiced from the work itself, with margin per client.
  4. A portal under each client’s logo: live stock, orders, receipts and reports, plus B2B ordering for their stores.
  5. Cold and catchweight, pharma and medical device, dangerous goods, bonded and high-value stock on the same floor.

From signature to first invoice in days.

A new client starts on the operating model you already run and you configure only what is different: its rules, its rate card, its documents. Items, locations, addresses and rates load in bulk. If the client runs a system we already connect to, its orders flow the day the connection is switched on, and its portal is live the same week. Your commercial team can put a go-live date in the tender and mean it. Ecommerce 3PLs on .wms run over a hundred storefront connections from one site; contract logistics groups run over a hundred clients on one operation.

Say yes to the client everyone else turns down.

One client picks by expiry with photo proof and ships on its own DHL account. The next picks first-in with a single scan and takes the cheapest eligible service from your accounts. A third sends orders by EDI from its retail trading partners and wants its own labels and packing slips. All three run in the same wave, with nothing handled by hand. The contracts with the best margins and the fewest bidders, cold and catchweight, pharma and medical device, dangerous goods, bonded liquor, high-value and controlled stock, run on the same floor on their own rules. 3PLs on .wms serve healthcare clients in Australia, the UK and Ireland, dangerous goods clients in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Canada, and cold-store clients across Australia.

Every pallet, pick and day of storage on the invoice.

Charges are raised as the work happens: receipts, putaway, storage by pallet, unit or cube, picks, packing materials, value-added services, freight. Rate cards, recurring charges and minimum monthly invoices sit on each client, and freight is costed against what you charge so margin is visible per client, per charge. Finance reviews and approves in bulk, sees unbilled work before the month closes, and sends invoices the day it does. The client sees the same figures in its portal, so disputes fall and payment comes sooner. Nothing is re-keyed and nothing is forgotten.

One operating model across every site you win.

A new site, a client’s warehouse you take over, or a business you acquire starts on your template and is live in weeks, on the scanners you already own. When another provider’s rollout stalls, Thomax takes the site live in weeks. Sites in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Canada and the USA run on the same platform with regional hosting, local carriers and customs paperwork, 24/7 support in every time zone, and pricing that flexes with your operation and scales for seasonality. Many Thomax projects pay back in under 12 months. Two-factor sign-in, single sign-on, per-client data separation and a full audit trail answer the client’s security questionnaire before it arrives.

Loading bays at a multi-client distribution centre

Automation that outlives any one contract.

An AutoStore, an AMR zone or a right-size packing line serves one client today and three next year, on the same waves and rules as the manual floor around it. Every machine pick, pack and putaway raises its charge like a manual one, so automated work is invoiced from the work itself and the investment is shared across every client it serves. Thomax builds white-box control for shuttle stores, sorters and packing lines and integrates vendor robotics, so the next line or the next site is configuration, not a new system.
