Every case under bond is duty you have not paid yet, and the warehouse system decides when that changes. Under-bond or duty-paid status comes from your ERP and sits on the item and the pallet. An under-bond order draws only from bonded stock and a duty-paid order only from duty-paid stock, and the release for home consumption is a recorded event with a user and a time, so the removals you declare are the removals that happened. A transfer to another bonded site leaves with the references the movement document needs.

Tobacco and spirits are the stock people steal and the stock regulators watch. .wms picks them to sealed security totes in caged zones, flags high-value lines so the pick and the pack are checked, and tracks cartons and serials so a missing unit is a known unit.
